Both the football and the netball teams will be adorned in sportswear supplied by Struddy\u2019s until at least 2023 thanks to a deal struck between the Jets and the proud local business. <\/p>\n
The company started back in 1975 by Ross Strudwick, a former St George player, who also represented Queensland and his country in Rugby League. For many years Struddy\u2019s has been the go-to for local sports clubs across Ipswich, and that proud tradition continues. A 100% Australian business, they have three locations in two states, and has worked with the club to design apparel that will sing on the footy field and netball court. <\/p>\n
Ben Neale from Struddy\u2019s said that the company is excited about being able to supply the pride of Ipswich with their on and off field apparel. Ben\u2019s father even ran the Ipswich store for over 10 years. \u201cStruddys is super excited to announce it is planting its feet firmly back in the city of Ipswich through partnering with the Ipswich Jets as their official apparel supplier,\u201d Mr Neale said.<\/p>\n
\u201cLike the Jets, Struddy’s is proud of its Ipswich heritage. We first opened a retail outlet, back in the mid 1970\u2019s in Ipswich Rung\u2019s Garage on Brisbane Street. Struddy\u2019s today manufacture locally in Logan City and offshore.<\/p>\n
