_module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Purpose and Application<\/h2>\n<p>The Ipswich Jets value the support of corporate sponsors and partners who help the Jets grow its sports, support its players, staff, volunteers and supporters, and strengthen its<br \/>connection with the Ipswich community.<\/p>\n<p>This Corporate Sponsors Code of Conduct applies to all corporate sponsors, corporate members, commercial partners, hospitality clients, their employees, representatives, invitees and guests when attending Jets matches, functions, events, hospitality areas, sponsor activations or any occasion where the Jets are represented.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing in this Code is intended to limit the Jets&#8217; ability to comply with venue conditions, governing body requirements, applicable law or directions from police or security.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsorship of the Jets is a valued partnership and a privilege built on trust, shared standards and mutual respect.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsors should exercise that privilege thoughtfully and to ensure their conduct, and the conduct of those they invite or host, reflects the Jets\u2019 commitment to respect, professionalism, community engagement, integrity and the spirit of the sports the Jets play.<\/p>\n<h2>General Responsibilities of Sponsor<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct themselves towards the Jets, its players, staff, volunteers, officials, members, supporters, opponents, match officials, venues and the public in a respectful, inclusive, lawful and professional manner.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Jets\u2019 culture of respect, professionalism, community engagement and strong character.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid any behaviour, statement, association or public conduct that may embarrass the Jets, damage the Jets\u2019 reputation, or bring the sports the Jets play into disrepute.<\/li>\n<li>Take reasonable steps to ensure invited guests are made aware of and comply with this Code of Conduct and all venue conditions of entry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 26px;\">Game-Day Guest Privileges and Reputational Responsibility<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Corporate hospitality, sponsor tickets, guest passes, special access and game-day privileges are provided by the Jets to strengthen relationships, promote the Jets, support the<br \/>game and create a positive experience for sponsors, guests and supporters.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsors must protect that relationship by using these privileges responsibly and by not inviting, hosting, endorsing or publicly associating the Jets with guests whose presence or conduct in the reasonable opinion of the CEO, having regard to on credible information reasonably available at the time, the CEO reasonably considers the person&#8217;s attendance or association creates a material reputational, integrity, safety or legal risk to the Jets otherwise bring the Jets into disrepute.<\/p>\n<p>Without limiting the Jets\u2019 discretion, sponsors must take reasonable care not to invite, host or facilitate attendance by any person who has been found guilty of, admitted to, or is widely and credibly associated with serious criminal or unethical conduct.<\/p>\n<h2>Prohibited Conduct<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage in, support, excuse or endorse vilification, racism, bullying, harassment, intimidation, discriminatory conduct, offensive language, threatening behaviour or violence.<\/li>\n<li>Use sponsor entitlements to promote, legitimise or provide status to individuals or organisations whose conduct conflicts with the Jets\u2019 values or community expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Act in a way that disrupts match day, undermines venue safety, disrespects officials, players, staff, volunteers, opponents or supporters, or interferes with the positive enjoyment of others.<\/li>\n<li>Make public comments, social media posts or media statements connected with the Jets that are abusive, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, confidential, or likely to damage the Jets or the game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Compliance, Disclosure and Club Direction<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Sponsors shall cooperatively with the Jets, venue staff, security, match officials and authorised representatives, and to comply with lawful and reasonable directions given to protect patrons, players, officials and the wider Club community.<\/li>\n<li>Sponsors shall raise concerns with the Jets immediately if they become aware that an invited guest may create a reputational, safety, integrity or legal concern for the Jets or the game, so the matter can be handled respectfully and appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>The Jets may refuse approval for any guest, withdraw tickets or hospitality access, deny entry, remove a person from a venue or event, or impose conditions on attendance where the Jets considers this necessary to protect the Jets, the community or the game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Enforcement and Accountability<\/h2>\n<p>The Jets will seek to deal with any actual or suspected breach of this Code in a fair, respectful and proportionate manner, having regard to the nature and seriousness of the<br \/>conduct, the circumstances in which it occurred, any risk to the Jets, its people, supporters or the reputation of the sports the Jets play, and the importance of maintaining strong sponsor relationships.<\/p>\n<p>The CEO has primary authority to act under this Code and determine an appropriate response. If the CEO is unavailable and immediate action is required, authority may be<br \/>exercised, in order, by the Chair, a Board Member, or the Operations Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Where reasonably necessary to address an immediate safety, integrity, operational or reputational concern, the CEO or other authorised representative may take immediate<br \/>action, including imposing conditions on attendance, refusing or withdrawing access, or requiring a person to leave a venue or event.<\/p>\n<p>Where more serious or ongoing action against a sponsor is contemplated, the Jets will, where reasonably practicable and having regard to the circumstances:<\/p>\n<p>a) inform the sponsor of the nature of the concern;<br \/>b) provide the sponsor with a reasonable opportunity to respond; and<br \/>c) consider the sponsor&#8217;s response before determining what further action, if any, should be taken<\/p>\n<p>The CEO may seek the assistance of, or refer a matter to, the Chair or the Board where appropriate having regard to the nature or seriousness of the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Where a sponsor, or a guest, employee, representative or other person associated with a sponsor, breaches this Code, the Jets may take action that is reasonable and proportionate in the circumstances.
