Road maintenance is vital to keep Ipswich moving, and one local company has been at the forefront of constructing and maintaining our roads for over 37 years.<\/p>\n
Now, for the first time, RPQ Group from Swanbank is a proud sponsor of the Ipswich Jets for 2021.
\nWith their head office based in Ipswich, there\u2019s a good chance you\u2019ve driven on a road that has been laid and constructed by RPQ, with successful projects all over the country that has them in demand by councils and businesses alike.<\/p>\n
Best of all RPQ is a company that likes to be green, in fact one of their products is created from recycled car tyres, as Business Support Officer Stacey Pearce explains.<\/p>\n
\u201cRPQ offers a range of Asphalt and Spray Sealing services, and we are very proud of our Crumbed Rubber, which is a sustainable alternative from bitumen that is blended with end of life tyres that would usually be disposed of into landfill, stockpiled or illegally dumped,\u201d Ms Pearce said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe cover metro areas as well as going way out west. We predominately cover Queensland and New South Wales but we also do work in Northern Territory and currently have a crew working in Tasmania!\u201d<\/p>\n
The company saw an opportunity to support local sport, and jumped at the chance to be involved with the Ipswich Jets.
\n\u201cRPQ Group are incredibly excited to get behind the Ipswich Jets for the first time this year. As a company we strongly believe in being involved in the community and the Ipswich Jets are a standout sporting team and club within Ipswich.<\/p>\n
