The Ipswich Jets have great delight in announcing a new multi year partnership with local International engineering company TAE Aerospace, who will be our joint naming rights partner for our rugby league and netball teams from 2023.

TAE Aerospace is a global company with a headquarter in Australia and offices throughout the USA, Europe and Asia, that offer premium quality products and services in the aerospace engineering, manufacturing, turbine engine and component MRO, and fire protection systems across their Commercial and Defence capabilities.

TAE Aerospace have been a part of the Ipswich community for more than 22 years, where in 2000 they started their involvement maintaining major F-111 aircraft with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Over the last 20 years TAE Aerospace have worked on several engines including the Classic Hornet and Super Hornet aircrafts. They currently are based at 1 Jet Place Bundamba, employing more than 400 local people after spending several years working on aircraft engines at the RAAF Amberley base.

TAE Aerospace CEO Andrew Sanderson commented “We are delighted to join the Jets as the first naming rights sponsor of both the rugby league and netball sides. It’s an honour to be associated with a club that has such a long and proud history and a club that means so much to the Ipswich region,” Mr Sanderson said.

“As a major employer in the area, we feel it’s important to give back to region in which we operate and we feel we have a lot in common with the Jets in terms of shared values and aspirations. Even the name has a certain synergy given we handle the maintenance on military jet engines and other commercial aircraft .”

Richard Hughes Ipswich Jets CEO added; “This is a partnership made in aviation heaven, between the Ipswich Jets and TAE Aerospace.” “This multi year agreement to the Jets is the first time the Club has successfully had a naming rights sponsor commit in this way to the Club.” “Our rugby league and netball teams are very fortunate to be the TAE Aerospace Ipswich Jets, and we thank Andrew and his entire team for their support to the Club.”

The Ipswich Jets welcome TAE Aerospace aboard and we are excited to be known as the TAE AEROSPACE IPSWICH JETS heading into 2023.
