Shape the Future of Women’s Rugby League in Ipswich – EOI Callout

Monday 09th May 2022, 02:03 PM

The Ipswich Jets are taking expressions of interest to be part of our inaugural senior women’s rugby league team in 2023.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to become an integral part of the growth of female rugby league in this region and as such, are seeking player applications and experienced support staff (including coaching staff).

The Ipswich Jets are currently celebrating their 40th year anniversary and successfully entered their first female rugby league team in the Harvey Normans U19’s girls state-wide competition this season. Off the back of the great interest shown in that program we want to promote and deliver a senior women’s team in 2023, but need help to achieve this.

You’ll be involved in a rugby league club that is built in a traditional rugby league heartland with unrivalled access to coaching staff that have been at the pinnacle of women’s rugby league, namely Ben Cross current HPC Head Coach and Head of Football and former NSWRL Women’s State of Origin Head Coach. No better place to make your mark and be mentored by the very best in this program.

Expressions of interest by no later than 20 May, can be submitted to or by completing this online form
