Ipswich’s own star returns to the Jets!

Cleeland was signed to the Cronulla Sharks NRL side in 2016, but spent the 2017/2018 season playing for the Canterbury Bulldogs in their Intrust Super Cup competition. “The supporters of the club have every reason to get excited”, added Ipswich Jets Chief Executive Officer, Richard Hughes. “The influence and experience Josh can give the team, both on and off the field, will add another level to what is already an amazing group of lads.”

Josh is thrilled to be back in Ipswich and with the Jets family. “I am looking forward to playing in the green and white again and representing the City of Ipswich” said Cleeland. ‘After training with the boys, I am confident that we will be a force to be reckoned with in the QRL Intrust Super Competition in 2019”.

The Ipswich Jets have their first game against the Townsville Blackhawks in the QRL Intrust Super Cup Competition on March 10, which is also our Defence Force Appreciation Day.
