Win a Car Terms and Conditions

One person will WIN their choice of 1 of 5 cars supplied by Llewellyn Motors simply by attending either a Ipswich Jets Home Game and purchasing a raffle ticket for $1 or by registering online at www.ipswichjets.com. Full Terms and Conditions of the giveaway are below.

1. Win a Car Vehicle Giveaway (“the Promotion”) is conducted by the Jets Rugby League Club Inc, ABN 82144331889 of 15 Downs St, North Ipswich, QLD, 4305 (“the Promoter”).
2. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Information on how to enter, all entry instructions, advertising material and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions.
3. To be eligible for entry into the Promotion:
   • a person must be 18 years or older.
   • Attend an Ipswich Jets Home Game and purchase a raffle ticket OR Register online
   • Provide your name, mobile number, email address and post code to the Ipswich Jets Promotional staff to receive the electronic registration.
   • Have a valid Identification etc Australian passport, current driver license or 18+ Card.
4. Online draw.
   • Register online with your full name, email address, postcode and mobile number to be in the online draw.
   • A draw will occur each Friday from the 21th of March 2020 until the 15th of December 2020 as per the schedule.
   • The winner will be announced via social media and then this will also be promoted via a group email.
   • If you are a winner of the online draw you are required to be present at Llewellyn Motors at 5pm on the 18th of December with a valid form of ID. You will then have a one in thirty chance of winning a car.
   • Please note that the Jets Rugby League Club Inc is not responsible for any costs incurred for you to be present at this game. Unless extreme circumstances occur, at the discretion of the Jets Rugby Leagues Club Inc you and only you will be required to be present.
5. Home Game Entry
   • Purchase a raffle ticket at the home games for $1, (no limit to how many you can purchase). During the game day, up to five people will be called out during the home game compete in a short game of luck for win a chance to win the car. One entrant will move on to the last stage and the other four will receive a $25 leagues club voucher.
   • A draw will occur each Home game from the 14th of March 2020 until the 29th of August 2020 as per the Intrust Super Cup Draw. The winner will be announced via social media and then this will also be promoted via a group email. There are 10 homes within this period.
   • If you are a winner of the home game draw you are required to be present at Llewellyn Motors at 5pm on the 18th of December with a valid form of ID. You will then have a one in thirty chance of winning a car.
   • Please note that the Jets Rugby League Club Inc is not responsible for any costs incurred for you to be present at this game. Unless extreme circumstances occur, at the discretion of the Jets Rugby Leagues Club Inc you and only you will be required to be present.
6. Employees and immediate family of the Ipswich Jets and Llewellyn Motors have been notified as they are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
7. The Final Draw will occur via two stages on the 18th of December 2020 from 5pm
   Stage 1 all 30 entrants will be required to run and grab a balloon and pop this balloon, only 5 balloons will have card inside.
   The 5 entrants who have the card inside can now choose a key to a car; one car will be filled with balloons when the boot of the car opens that is the winner.
8. The Winner will receive their choice of 1 of 5 cars (“the Prize”), valued up to $25,000 driveaway on the road, from the list below:
   • Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport Hatch
   • Hyundai Venue GO SUV
   • Holden Trax LS SUV
   • Haval H2 SUV
   • Greatwall Steed Ute
9. Entries to the Promotion that are not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are void.
10. The Prize or any unused portion, are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, or merchantability of the Prize.
11. Winner will be notified by phone and will be required to collect the prize from Llewellyn Motors Dealership located at 246 Brisbane Road, Booval, QLD, 4304.
12. The Prize comprises the vehicle ‘On Road’ meaning it will be a vehicle fully registered with all registration, compulsory Third part & Stamp duty. The winner may choose to purchase additional extras such as accessories, Tint, and Vehicle Protection products.
13. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the entrant’s identity particulars (including but not limited to an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence). Proof of identification, age, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse an entry for any reason at its sole discretion.
15. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that may affect the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from any offender(s) are reserved. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
16. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, the Promoter’s officers, employees and agents, the Promoter’s related companies and all those entities’ personnel exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, including loss of opportunity) which is suffered or incurred by any individual in connection with the Promotion or prizes, including but not limited to: (i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (iv)any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions; (v)any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; (vi) any prize(s); or participation in or use of any prize(s). (vii) any direct, indirect, economic or consequential loss; (viii) any loss arising from negligence; (ix) any liability for personal injury or death. Nothing in these conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia.
17. The Promoter may at its discretion and without notice to the Entrant amend these Terms and Conditions of the Promotion.
18. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every Entrant. No correspondence will be entered into.
19. The Promoter has the right to cancel the event at any time.
20. The Winner agrees to participate in or for their personal image to be used in the media, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing and publicity without any further reference, payment or other compensation.
21. All entries and entry details become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may use the Winner’s personal details (including name, likeliness, image and/or voice) for any marketing and advertising (in any form of media) without compensation, unless the Winner advise the Promoter otherwise when accepting the Prize. By entering the Promotion, unless the Promoter is otherwise advised, Entrants consent to the Promoter using their personal information, marketing and publicity purposes, and disclosing that information to its related entities and contractors for those purposes.
22. The Winner’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery regulators as required by law. By entering the Promotion, unless the Promoter is otherwise advised, Entrants consent to the Promoter sending future marketing materials to Entrants including by electronic messages. Entrants may ask the Promoter to access that personal information and request that corrections be made to it.
