Being part of a team in his blood

As a sponsor of the Ipswich Jets, the ACS Group knows all about what it takes to build something that will last for years to come.

In the early 2000’s ACS’s Director Brad Oddi played for the Ipswich Jets Reggies in at one point and for many years in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane. Playing from 1999 to 2017, he’s given years to the game he loves.

Once he finished playing he vowed to one day put back something into the sport that he loves so much and is so pumped for footy in 2021.

“I’m so excited to see footy back on the field this year,” Brad said. “I think it’s so important to buy into the team’s ethics…it helps with family and the wider community.

“We love being part of something that is bigger than yourself.”

Since 2013, ACS Group has been the local one stop shop for construction, no matter how big or small. Their work is all over Ipswich, Brisbane and the Scenic Rim. “We can fix your front door, build you a warehouse…anything!

No matter what it is, we all work as a team here, just like in footy which taught me so much in life. “Footy taught me a sense of community. I’m a simple man, lived here since I was 10 and love the place. As a business why not give back to your community, I like to be a sponsor to show what sport did for me growing up, its not about financial gain I learnt so much growing up through footy,” Brad said. “I love going to the games, seeing good mates and seeing the boys go into battle.

“I love Ipswich because the people in this city are hard-working, and so down to earth. We have that ‘battler’ attitude and as long as the Jets give their all on the field week in week out, that’s all you can ask for. “Win, lose or draw as long as you come off the field holding your head high, that’s what matters to me.”
