The iCare Group Australia Ipswich Jets are pleased to announce the renewal of their partnership with The Industry School, which will continue as the naming rights partner of the club’s Mal Meninga Cup team for the 2027 season.
As an important part of the Jets’ junior development pathway, the Mal Meninga Cup program provides emerging rugby league talent with an opportunity to develop their skills, gain valuable experience and take the next steps in their sporting careers.
For the Jets, the renewal reflects the strength of an established relationship and the importance of working with partners who share the club’s vision for developing young people and supporting the future of rugby league in the region.
The iCare Group Australia Ipswich Jets Pathways and Junior Development Manager Blake Mara and The Industry School Principal Andrew Want welcomed the continuation of the partnership.
BLAKE MARA | PATHWAYS AND JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
“It’s fantastic to have The Industry School back on board for another season. Their continued support means a lot to our program and the young players coming through the Jets.
“The Mal Meninga Cup is an important stage in a player’s development, and having that consistency with our partners allows us to keep building on what we’re doing each year.
“We’re proud of the environment we’re creating for these young players, and it’s great to have The Industry School continuing to be part of that.”
ANDREW WANT | PRINCIPAL, THE INDUSTRY SCHOOL
“We’re proud to renew our partnership with The iCare Group Australia Ipswich Jets. Through their competitive teams, development programs and community pathways, the Jets create meaningful opportunities and experiences for young people and are an important part of the fabric of Ipswich, as does The Industry School.
Their commitment to our community strongly aligns with The Industry School’s purpose of connecting young people with industry—and industry with great young people. We look forward to continuing to bring this partnership to life and making a positive difference across our community.”
With both organisations sharing a focus on personal development, community connection and future opportunities, the partnership continues to bring together education and rugby league in support of the region’s emerging talent.
The iCare Group Australia Ipswich Jets look forward to continuing their relationship with The Industry School throughout the 2027 season and building on the opportunities the partnership provides for the club’s young players.
