Big year ahead for Jets sponsor
Harvest Markets have been around for a lifetime for some people in Ipswich, and when you consider they’ve been providing locals with their fruit and veggies for over 40 years, it’s no wonder they are such a well-known brand.
As a sponsor of the Ipswich Jets, they are proud to link with Ipswich’s number one sports team, and as a family business, know what it means to work together. “My dad (Rob Sayle Senior) started sponsoring the Jets in 1985, and we’ve been involved in the club ever since,” said Rob Junior, who runs the business these days after his dad retired. “I think sport is important for children, as physical activity promotes healthier, happier and more productive lives which is what makes it go with our business of fresh fruit and vegies! You can’t be the best without a good healthy diet, plus sport also brings communities together and benefits the local economy.”
Rob admits he loves most sports, including cricket, but admits his love for the Jets and the Broncos are probably top of the list.
“This year is all about getting back on the field, and seeing the club continue to move forward on and off the field. “The best advice I ever got was to give it 100%, don’t give up and strive to be the best you can be.”
Harvest Markets is dedicated to supplying great quality and flavour in their produce at the best prices and is why they have such a loyal following from their customers. They have also launched a shopping online platform with delivery, plus click and collect options, and they even sell wholesale to schools, restaurants and clubs across the Ipswich region.
“Most exciting of all is the fact we are opening a brand-new store at Yamanto Central very soon, so we are going to be able to supply even more people across this great city with their fruit and veggie needs.
“I hope that 2021 is as big as year for the jets as its going to be for our family business!”
You can find Harvest Markets at Booval Fair, and very soon at Yamanto Central.
